We’ll look at a real-life example and business valuation techniques, including multiples of revenue and/or earnings and comparable sales. We’ll also discuss red flags, how to determine if it’s a good business to buy, and best practices whether as buyer or seller. Session is dedicated to those who support businesses. 1-2:30pm Expanding the Innovation Ecosphere Demystify the patent system by discussing the history and importance of patents, the necessity for expanding participation in intellectual property and discussing what inventors can expect during their patent application journey with the USPTO. 2:40-5:00pm *Optional* One-on-One Counseling USPTO staff will be on-site for 1:1 counseling with clients. **Limited to 14 spots.
