It seems like we waited a long time for the first Fourth Friday celebration in downtown Olathe. It was well worth the wait. Our largest crowd ever took in all the sights and sounds of the new and improved Fourth Fridays party last week.
The annual celebrations, hosted by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce’s Olathe Convention & Visitors Bureau, brought out thousands and packed downtown Olathe. It was a perfect night with perfect weather. Three more events are scheduled for June 24, July 22 and Aug. 26.
Ridin’ the Storm Out, a tribute to REO Speedwagon, and the Steve Miller Experience had everyone on their feet and dancing all night.
