The MTC Kids Jam concert series is specially designed with families in mind! Join us in the MTC lobby at 10 a.m. for art activities led by the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, followed by a 60-minute concert. Catch a concert in Downward Dog! Beloved recording artist and kids’ yoga educator Bari Koral presents Yogapalooza! Bari and her excellent band will take kids and families on a rockin’ music and movement adventure. Together we’ll learn popular yoga poses with a dancing bear, pop like popcorn, “sleep” like a pony in the barn, fly like rocket ships, run with a gingerbread man and much more as we dance, stretch, sing and play to Bari’s award-winning songs. Based on the TV show created and hosted by Bari Koral, Yogapalooza is an interactive concert packed with good times.

Kansas City’s Vine Street Rumble Jazz Orchestra, directed by Kent Rausch, was formed to honor the legacy of the “golden era” of Kansas City’s world-renowned jazz history. The band exclusively performs the same outrageously exciting music that made Kansas City the place to be in the 1930s and ’40s, dedicated to taking the audience back to the wildly famous “jam sessions” and concert performances that literally changed the jazz world and influenced musicians from coast to coast and beyond.
