From volunteer opportunities and what to expect when the teams – and fans – from across the world come to town.
You’ll hear from Julie Karins, Johnson County Deputy County Manager; Tracy Whelpley, director of Regional Impact for FIFA World Cup 2026; and Lori Thomas, former Commissioner of the Heart of America Conference and leader of the volunteer operations for the FIFA World Cup 2026. All three work closely with event organizers and have been working closely with the KC World Cup team since the beginning.
