Chamber Career Expo a huge success

The Olathe Chamber of Commerce welcomed more than 550 students to the Ball Event Center last week for the Career Expo and what an event!

This unique career exploration event highlighted careers within growing industries, connected industry professionals with the workforce of tomorrow, and motivated students to pursue these in-demand careers. Businesses interacted with more than 550 local high school students representing Olathe, Shawnee Mission, Blue Valley and DeSoto school districts.

The non-hiring event was for chamber members with the ability to feature targeted career pathways through hands-on demonstrations and by staffing their booth with company professionals, recruiters and other HR representatives.
