KVC Health Systems receives $2 million grant

Some big news at KVC Health Systems last week. U.S. Senator Jerry Moran announced a $2 million grant to help children and families served by KVC.

The funds will go to technology enhancements that help KVC innovate the most effective ways of caring for those children in need. More specifically, KVC’s team of software developers will use the funds to create urgently needed mobile apps and assessments that help with suicide prevention, mental health treatment and increasing family connection.

Moran is a long-time champion of children and families, and specifically children’s mental health and rural healthcare. He was on-hand last week for the announcement. The funds will ensure every child is cared for by a loving family and gets the highest quality mental health treatment available.
