Our 22nd Garmin Olathe Marathon a big success

The 22nd annual Garmin Olathe Marathon, brought to you by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce’s Convention & Visitors Bureau along with our main sponsor, Garmin, was last weekend and what a day. It was a beautiful day and our dedicated runners made the most of it.

More than 3,000 runners representing more than 40 states ran the marathon, half marathon and 10K races. In addition, Fry Orthodontic Specialists sponsored the Munchkin Marathon & Family Run, and a large number participated in the Senior Walk. There was something for everyone this year. Check here for complete results and race photos.

A huge thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers for making this year’s event possible. We couldn’t have done it without you. There was plenty of fun on the course this year. Everyone had a blast.

We also want to thank all of our Holmes Murphy Expo and Packet Pick Up vendors. Plenty of runners made their way through the two-day expo at the Ball Event Center.

We’d also like to thank marathon sponsor John Deere. And there’s no way we could have done any of it without the help of Blue Cross Blue Shield of KC, Crawford Sales, Hy-Vee, Multistudio, Olathe Ford Lincoln, and Pepsi Beverage Co. A big shout out to other contributing sponsors Fry Wagner and Pickleman’s Gourmet Café, and Dr. Pepper Keurig as an in-kind sponsor.

Check out some amazing Garmin Olathe Marathon photos here.
