TRAVANSE LIVINGTM AT OLATHE DONATES FURNITURE TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

OLATHE, KS: Travanse LivingTM is a new assisted living and memory care community under development in the former Holiday Inn located next to Olathe Medical Center. Managed and operated by Pathway® Senior Living, Travanse Living will offer Pathway’s signature
VIVA!? lifestyle.

This unique approach to living fosters purpose and offers a whole new way of aging healthfully and happily. VIVA! offers a wealth of opportunities to enrich lives through social, educational and spiritual pursuits, as well as the chance for people to share their skills, talents and passions with others through resident-led activities.

VIVA! is as much about giving as receiving, and Travanse Living is implementing this generous philosophy before residents even move in.

Prior to renovating, updating and decorating the spacious Holiday Inn to support the building’s new purpose, Travanse Living donated all of the Holiday Inn’s furniture, fixtures and décor to Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Overland Park, KS.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.  Habitat for Humanity ReStores are proudly owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally and around the world.

Scheduled to open in late 2015, Travanse Living will provide seniors in the Olathe, Kansas area with quality assisted living and memory care services within a beautiful community, located at 101 W. 151st Street. The community features private apartment suites as well as abundant common areas and social spaces – both inside and out – for residents’ use and enjoyment.
