Leadership Olathe Class to assist KVC Health Systems foster care program
The Olathe Chamber of Commerce’s 2015 Leadership Olathe class has chosen to work with KVC Health Systems as its community service project. The class will be filling Welcome Boxes and First Night Bags for Olathe children entering foster care. Welcome Boxes are given to children while they wait to be placed into foster care (this can take up to four hours). The First Night Bags are given to children placed into foster care because they often do not have the essentials for their… first night.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Donate items …please attached photo for details.
The donations requested are for boys and girls ages 11 to 18 who are entering foster care. Please note that we are asking for new items for this endeavor.
2. Donate money towards the effort.
Welcome Boxes cost $100, and First Night Bags are $50. Any amount helps! Together we can make a huge difference.

3. Help spread us the word!
