Chamber Supports City of Olathe’s Proposed Park Sales Tax Renewal

The Olathe Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce its support of the City of Olathe’s proposed Park Sales Tax Renewal. Renewing the tax would allow the City to continue maintaining, repairing, enhancing and expanding the park and trail system at today’s level, which plays a huge role in the quality of life residents enjoy and expect in Olathe. While the park sales tax renewal’s primary purpose will remain on parks and trails, the Olathe City Council recognizes there may also be opportunities to address residents’ service expectations for the Olathe library system, another valued amenity of residents and visitors alike.
