JCCC offers free continuing education for those affected by COVID

JCCC offers free continuing education for those affected by COVID

Johnson County Community College is a proud training partner to JoCoWorks, a county initiative that provides short-term skills-based training to qualified individuals and businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The federal government earmarked funding for workforce development to pay for training and skill-building for Johnson County residents who have experienced job loss and wage cuts because of COVID-19. County businesses that need help reskilling or upskilling their workforces to cope with new economic realities can qualify, too.

JCCC Continuing Education is proud to partner with JoCoWorks, Workforce Partnership and other local institutions to provide this vital support to our local economy.

  • who wishes to pursue short-term vocational training, job upskilling or reskilling, digital literacy training, essential skills training, basic skills development, English as a second language learning and/or work-based learning to enable them to secure new jobs; and
  • who has interest in and a commitment to completing a short-term training program by Dec. 30.
