July Fourth Friday a bit warm, but fun

It was a warm one last Friday for the July Fourth Friday party in downtown Olathe, but that didn’t stop some brave folks from enjoying the food trucks, live music, adult beverages, car shows and family.

The annual celebrations are sponsored by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce’s Olathe Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Those who made their way downtown enjoyed great kids’ activities like face painters, balloon artists, glitter tattoos, caricature drawings, bubbles, and different animals from Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm. A big shout out to Touring Taps, who served up adult beverages, and those who brought cars from both the Bronco Club and KC Mustang Club.

Matt Snook and his band provided an awesome set on stage last week. Taking the stage in August will be Sunnyside Down. Check then out here.

A big thanks to our Fourth Fridays sponsors the City of Olathe, Humana, Olathe Communities that Care, Simmons Bank, VanTrust Real Estate and Xfinity. Stay up to date on everything going on with the Olathe Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth Fridays right here.
