Fall Cemetery Tours – Olathe Memorial Cemetery
Thursday, September 22, Friday, September 23, & Saturday, September 24. Tour times are: 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., & 8 p.m.
Ages 5 & up $7/person All participants require a ticket One 60 minute session
Our fall cemetery tours take place at the Olathe Memorial Cemetery and give an opportunity to meet local historical figures to learn more about the story of Olathe. The theme is the Civil War. Tours last approximately one hour and there is a lot of walking. Call 913-971-5111 to purchase tickets over the phone. Each tour is limited to 30 participants. Enjoy the fall weather and pack great walking shoes!

Black Light Party (Bright Bats) – Pinot’s Palette Olathe

These bright bats are fun for all ages! Paint under the black light and see how they glooooow! Be sure to make a reservation to attend. The studio is BYOB, but they will provide glassware, ice, plates, napkins, silverware, corkscrews, and water.
Chuckwagon Cook- Off/Sorghum Saturday – Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm
October 8, 10am to 4pm
Visit the chuckwagons, enjoy samples at noon, then vote for your favorite! Help with the sorghum harvest and enjoy other living history activities such as cookstove and blacksmith demonstrations. All activities included with regular admission, $9/adults, $7/children ages 5-11, 4 & under are free. Olathe residents receive $2/off admission. No registration required.
Family Day (Huggable Bat)- Pinot’s Palette Olathe

Make a reservation for family day! For ages 5 & up (kids and adults both need reservations). The painting for this class will be the Huggable Bat. The perfect fall activity!

Ciderfest – Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery

Ciderfest will feature Stone Pillar’s own hard ciders paired with apple cider donuts from Louisburg Cider Mill.
Witchy Gnome- Pinot’s Palette Olathe

Enjoy the Halloween season with this Witchy Gnome! The class will take place from 2-4:30pm, so be sure to make your reservation online! The studio is BYOB, but they will provide glassware, ice, plates, napkins, silverware, corkscrews, and water.

Trick or Treat OFF the Street – Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm

All Ages $3/person ages 3 & up, before October 29. $4/person ages 3 & up the day of the event.Dress in your Halloween costume and experience 1860s fall living history activities. Admission includes a horse drawn hay ride, games, crafts, and candy stations sponsored by local businesses. Please park at Olathe North High School to catch the free shuttle to the parking lot near Mahaffie’s historic house.

Friday Night Concert Series – Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery
