Splash in the play creek at Lake Olathe

Walk on the rocks, splash in the water, or enjoy the water near the waterfall. All ages can enjoy this beautiful creek. Don’t forget to visit the splash pad next to the creek!  With water features, a sand area, and shallow creek areas, this spot is the perfect place to cool off or enjoy a picnic.

Climb on a train 

We aren’t kidding! Calamity Line Park is home to a new train themed playground. The kids will love climbing through and on top of the play set. A shelter is nearby for shade if not being rented out, but be sure to pack sunscreen!

Visit Frontier Park

Pack your bikes or a picnic and enjoy frontier park! The pirate themed playground is fun for all ages, or enjoy the soccer field and basketball courts. This park also gives access to Indian Creek Trail for running or biking.
