“It was wonderful having a great race with the support of the community right here in Olathe for the 13th year,” Race Director and Sports Marketing Manager of the Olathe Convention & Visitors Bureau Bubba Gaeddert said. “We appreciate our 400-plus volunteers, the city staff including police, fire, public works and others, and our sponsors. We could not do this without the contributions of all.”

A portion of the proceeds of the event go the Olathe Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund. Last year, the fund was a record $175,000 and was shared by 16 non-profits serving the Olathe community.
