The Olathe Fire Department will host an Open House on Sunday, Oct. 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at Olathe Fire Station No. 1, 501 E. Old Hwy 56. The Open House will feature crash rescue and bomb squad demonstrations and attendees will have the opportunity to hear from experts and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) about fire and life safety and emergency preparedness.
