A message from the Olathe Chamber of Commerce

As we continue to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to be certain the Olathe Chamber of Commerce is doing everything we can to help keep our members and our community safe during these incredibly challenging times.  As always, protecting the health and well-being of our members and the entire community is our top priority.

Currently, the Olathe Chamber of Commerce is working remotely and practicing social distancing, but we are still fully operational and here for you. The Olathe Chamber is working tirelessly to support all of our members during these uncertain times.

As you look to gain information that you and your organization need right now to safeguard your business from economic decline and protect your associates and you from this virus, please be sure to visit the Olathe Chamber and U.S. Chamber of Commerce websites where there are various links to valuable resources as well as the Small Business Administration website where you can find small business resources and disaster relief options.

We all should follow the CDC recommendations and postpone events to later dates.  The key is to postpone rather than cancel invaluable networking opportunities.  As you know, the Olathe Chamber of Commerce has suspended all events through April 13. At that point, we’ll reassess the situation and decide whether further action needs to be taken.  The Olathe Chamber of Commerce is focused on creating new opportunities for regular business interaction as soon as we can.  With your help, those new and creative opportunities will hopefully generate a quick recovery.

Last, and certainly not least, we have to remind all of our members/colleagues/friends from across our community and the region that we’re all still open for business. It may not be open in a traditional sense, but as we work to educate and continue to prosper, while helping to flatten the curve, we’re here for each other as we strive to keep our entire community the ideal place to live, work and play.

That’s the most important part. We have to remain open for business in our temporary, new reality. We all have to remain resilient as we react, adapt and overcome in the short term, so we can help you prosper in the long term.

The Olathe Chamber of Commerce is here to serve and lead, to support our investors, members, partners and community in rebounding quickly. Ultimately, this is how we will save jobs and keep our economies growing.
