Leadership transitions for Nabholz

Nabholz Corporation recently announced a change in leadership for its Kansas presence. Effective Jan. 1, Jon Pahl, former president of the Kansas operation, assumed his new role as Nabholz’ first corporate director of innovation. Jeff Gattis, a seasoned project executive from the company’s Northwest Arkansas operation, has been named as the Kansas operation’s new president. 

Pahl joined Nabholz as an intern in 1997. His time at Nabholz has earned him experience in nearly every aspect of the construction process, including project management and preconstruction. In his most recent role as regional president, he oversaw revenue growth, staff increases, and construction of a new office facility.

In his new position, Pahl will foster innovation at Nabholz and create systems that challenge business norms. In addition, Pahl will lead an a company-wide effort to develop and implement LEAN practices that save money, time, and other resources. 

Incoming President Jeff Gattis brings 20 years of commercial construction experience to the role. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2002 with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, then spent summers working on various construction projects as a laborer. He joined Nabholz in 2006 as a project manager. He most recently held the position of project executive, where he oversaw numerous high-profile projects representing hundreds of millions of dollars of work for the company, including five school projects in Kansas and Missouri.

 Ron Ferris, current business development officer for Nabholz’ Kansas operation, has been promoted to executive vice president for this region. In this role, Ferris will continue to expand his focus on business development to include all of the company’s efforts in Kansas and Missouri, as well as developing an overall market strategy for the region. Ferris is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry and joined Nabholz in 2008.
