| National Engineering Firms Change Names to Terracon OLATHE, Kan. --- JGI EASTERN, Inc. (JGI) and Zipper Zeman Associates (ZZA) have officially changed their names to Terracon Consultants, Inc. after operating as wholly-owned Terracon subsidiaries for two and three years respectively. JGI is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm with headquarters
in Manchester, N.H., and offices in ZZA is a leading provider of geotechnical, environmental and construction materials services in the Northwest, with office locations in Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma, Wash. ZZA was established in 1998 by a group of geotechnical engineers, geologists and environmental specialists with extensive Northwest and national consulting experience. The firm’s clients include real estate developers, architectural and engineering firms, and public sector clients such as municipal and county governments. John Zipper, P.E., will continue in his current role managing Terracon’s Northwest division, which includes Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma, in addition to existing Terracon offices in Portland, Ore., and Boise, Idaho.
